Some dealers to offer free vehicle history check through DoneDeal

Online marketplace DoneDeal has launched a free vehicle history check service through its network of ‘Trusted Dealers’.

The new feature allows buyers to download a free history report directly from eligible listings from all Trusted Dealers, with the report emailed straight to them.

Around 40 per cent of all cars currently listed for sale on its site are from a Trusted Dealer, according to DoneDeal.

The free vehicle history includes information such as import status and country of origin, A and B write-off history, number and dates of previous owners, NCT and tax details, mileage history, any UK history for imported vehicles and if the car now has an Irish registration and more.
