Pagid Racing has completely eliminated plastic from its packaging and packing materials as a way to reduce its environmental impact.<\/p>\n

The TMD Friction-owned motorsport braking brand achieved this by replacing polyurethane foam filling materials with a type of innovative \u201choneycomb\u201d cardboard material which is fully recycled and recyclable.<\/p>\n

The change resulted in a 10-tonne reduction in order volume of foam filling materials between 2023 and 2025 at its manufacturing site in Essen, Germany.<\/p>\n

Today, Pagid Racing packaging is entirely paper-based and plastic free. In addition, the box is also made of 71 per cent recycled cardboard.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile sustainability isn\u2019t usually the first thing on people\u2019s minds when they think about motorsport, it\u2019s important to reduce our environmental impact in every aspect of our business. Improving our packaging is a perfect example of something with a big environmental effect which has zero negative consequences on performance,\u201d said Matthew Greenman, head of global motorsports at TMD Friction.<\/p>\n
