<\/p>\nWorkshops are set to benefit from a new partnership between Valeo Service and LKQ Academy, equipping technicians with the skills needed to keep pace with the rapid evolution of modern vehicle technology.<\/p>\n
The collaboration will deliver structured training through Valeo Tech Academy, supporting the industry\u2019s transition towards electrification, ADAS and increasingly complex diagnostics.<\/p>\n

\u201cIndependent garages are operating in a market where vehicle technology is advancing faster than ever, and the skills required to service and repair those vehicles are evolving just as quickly,\u201d said Valeo technical trainer Stewart Lynch.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis partnership ensures technicians have access to structured training that reflects everyday workshop life and prepares them for the technologies they\u2019re seeing every day in the bay.\u201d<\/p>\n
The programme draws on Valeo\u2019s extensive original equipment pedigree. Today, Valeo technology is fitted to one in three hybrid and electric vehicles globally, and its ADAS systems are integrated into one in three new cars worldwide.<\/p>\n
Training will cover electrification, driver assistance systems and new powertrain technologies across all makes and vehicle architectures. Delivered through Valeo Tech Academy in the UK, the programme is brand-agnostic, providing technicians with practical, day-to-day skills.<\/p>\n
