<\/p>\nStellantis plans to jointly develop and deploy level 4 driverless robotaxi services globally, having signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Wayve and Uber.<\/p>\n
The agreement will combine vehicle engineering, AI driving software and a mobility platform in a single collaboration.<\/p>\n
The collaboration brings together Stellantis\u2019 L4-Ready Platforms, Wayve\u2019s AI driving technology, and Uber\u2019s global ride-hailing network to power a new generation of fully autonomous vehicles across Europe, North America and beyond.<\/p>\n

Stellantis and Wayve recently announced a level 2++ agreement for hands-free driving, while Wayve and Uber is already deploying autonomous rides in London, Tokyo and 10 other cities this year. The MoU covers future agreements on technology development, licensing, production and vehicle procurement.<\/p>\n
Wayve\u2019s software is designed to adapt across different driving conditions without city-by-city mapping, enabling faster deployment in new markets. Vehicle integration, testing and validation work will focus on cities across Europe and North America.<\/p>\n
