{"id":79534,"date":"2026-06-02T09:10:51","date_gmt":"2026-06-02T08:10:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.autotrade.ie\/?p=79534"},"modified":"2026-06-02T16:58:28","modified_gmt":"2026-06-02T15:58:28","slug":"nissan-implements-building-sheets-from-paint-waste","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.autotrade.ie\/index.php\/nissan-implements-building-sheets-from-paint-waste\/79534","title":{"rendered":"Nissan implements building sheets from paint waste"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nissan has partnered with the Takayama Group in Japan to commercialise calcium carbonate recovered from its vehicle paint shops.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The materials are being reused in two newly launched building products, TS-12 and TS-20 sound-insulating sheets.<\/p>\n<p>Nissan expects this initiative to reduce annual waste by approximately 1,200 tonnes and lower waste disposal costs by 25 million yen.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-31686\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bodyshop.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/ec7501022d47b770112a4ccfcfa24ab78a654083.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"755\" height=\"470\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The recovered material comes from Nissan\u2019s dry booth system at its Tochigi and Oppama plants.
