<\/p>\nAvailable from June 2026, Bosch is expanding its aftermarket program with pressure sensors to support the requirements for air conditioning system servicing across a wide range of vehicles.<\/p>\n
As an important sensor for controlling and protecting the air conditioning system, the pressure sensor is essential for its proper functioning. With the addition of the pressure sensor, Bosch says it now offers workshops an even more harmonised range of air conditioning components.<\/p>\n

\nThe main function of the pressure sensor is to measure the refrigerant pressure in the high- and low-pressure lines. This information is then transmitted to the control unit, which regulates important functions. For example, the compressor is switched off if the pressure is too low or too high to prevent costly damage. At the same time, precise pressure measurement enables efficient control of the cooling performance.<\/p>\n
\nTo meet the different requirements of modern and older vehicles, Bosch is launching a broad range of pressure sensors in mechanical and electronic versions, as well as with integrated temperature measurement. The 60 part numbers available at launch cover a large portion of the European vehicle fleet \u2013 across various vehicle categories: The program includes solutions for passenger cars as well as light and heavy commercial vehicles. This also covers vehicles with combustion engines as well as electric and hybrid powertrains.<\/p>\n
\nBefore being included in the product range, the pressure sensors undergo rigorous pressure and leak tests to ensure durability and reliable operation after installation. Precisely designed and supplied complete with O-rings, they allow for quick and easy installation. This small but crucial advantage in everyday workshop operations prevents additional work steps and can save valuable time during repairs.<\/p>\n
