American auto giant, Cadillac is set to officially launch in Ireland through Charles Hurst Group, with the country’s first wholly exclusive Cadillac dealership planned for south Dublin in a \u20ac1 million investment.<\/p>\n

A storied brand within the General Motors (GM) portfolio, Cadillac was founded in 1902 and is currently expanding its all-electric portfolio across Europe with its Lyric crossover SUV.<\/p>\n

Plans for the new Cadillac dealership in Dublin come after the leading retailer, Charles Hurst Group signed a major distribution deal with General Motors Europe, paving the way for the creation of Cadillac\u2019s first official premium electric sales centre in Ireland.<\/p>\n

The Cadillac Lyriq<\/p><\/div>\n

Welcoming Ireland\u2019s first Cadillac dealership, Lasse Grundstroem, chief commercial officer for GM Europe, said: \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to bring the Cadillac brand to Irish customers in partnership with the Charles Hurst Group, whose deep local expertise and commitment to customer service make them an exceptional launch partner.<\/p>\n

“Ireland\u2019s forward-looking sustainability vision and tech-savvy customer mindset are a perfect match for our all-electric portfolio. With Ireland now our fifth European market, this launch marks another exciting milestone in Cadillac\u2019s expansion across the continent.\u201d<\/p>\n

The investment in the new Dublin dealership will also include specialist Cadillac training for all new employees, ensuring every customer benefits from the best knowledge, advice and insights on the marque\u2019s features, benefits and maintenance requirements.<\/p>\n

The Lyriq, which is currently only sold in Switzerland, France, Sweden, and Germany, is already available to order for local customers, and will be followed by the soon-to-be-released Vistiq and Optiq in 2026.<\/p>\n

The entry-level version of the Lyriq offers a claimed range of around 530km and generates 520bhp, while the performance-focused top-tier model increases power to 606bhp.<\/p>\n

GM launched sales for its all-electric Cadillac business in Europe in 2023.<\/p>\n
