UFI systems for single-seaters are fundamental for the correct functioning of the fuel, lubrication, hydraulic and hybrid systems, helping to optimise performance on the track.<\/p>\n Which Filters?<\/strong> The hydraulic circuit filters are crucial for the drivers\u2019 safety, as they are used in the power steering systems, in the activation of the rear mobile wing (DRS) and in the braking circuits.<\/p>\n The hybrid system of single-seaters also includes a battery that must be kept at an optimal temperature. UFI Filters supplies devices for filtering the dielectric fluids used to cool this battery.<\/p>\n UFI\u2019s success in Formula 1 is the result of continuous investment in research and development. \nIn Formula 1, UFI doesn\u2019t just provide the teams with oil, engine air and petrol filters: each single-seater uses up to 15 UFI Filters Motorsport Extreme Filtration filter elements, for a total annual production of about 6,000 innovative components, custom-designed in terms of size and materials used (including medical-grade aluminum, carbon fiber and titanium), to meet the specific needs of the racing teams.<\/p>\n
\nThe filters of Formula 1 combustion engines are found in the air intake, in the fuel circuit and in the oil circuit. These high-tech filters retain dust, shavings and contaminants from special petrols, also protecting the recovery pumps with secondary filter elements and \u2018last chance\u2019 filters.<\/p>\n
\nIn addition to supplying its filtration systems to all Formula 1 teams for the 2025 season, UFI is extending its experience to other motorsport categories such as the FIA WEC World Endurance Championship, Formula 2 and IndyCar, as well as motorcycling, collaborating with MotoGP, Moto 2, Moto 3 and Superbike teams.<\/p>\n
