Highlighting the importance of safety, sustainability and high-quality craftsmanship, this campaign seeks to educate the industry and drivers alike on the unparalleled value of remanufactured calipers.<\/p>\n
The campaign centres around a set of Ford Scorpio Cosworth rear brake calipers, which Shaw brought to Brake Engineering\u2019s Wrexham Centre of Excellence for expert remanufacturing.<\/p>\n
The videos capture every step of the process, showcasing how worn components are meticulously restored to perform as reliably as new.<\/p>\n

Brake Engineering says this campaign is part of its commitment to highlighting the importance of prioritising remanufactured parts to reduce waste, minimise environmental impact and ensure vehicle safety.<\/p>\n
Remanufacturing plays a pivotal role in sustainability. By reusing core materials rather than manufacturing entirely new components, the process significantly reduces waste and lowers the carbon footprint of replacement parts.<\/p>\n
By remanufacturing at its Wrexham site, Brake Engineering, for example, saves 951-tonnes of CO2 emissions every year.<\/p>\n
This not only benefits the environment but also supports a circular economy where resources are preserved and utilised efficiently. Brake Engineering ensures that each remanufactured caliper meets or exceeds original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards, delivering consistent quality and performance.<\/p>\n
In addition to promoting sustainability and safety, the campaign addresses industry challenges such as the influx of low-quality imported components that can jeopardise vehicle performance.<\/p>\n
