The network was launched in July 2023 by LKQ Euro Car Parts in conjunction with MPM Oil, Pagid, Schaeffler, Shell, Valeo, Varta and ZF Aftermarket. Members across Ireland and the UK can enjoy a wide range of benefits including the latest technical and diagnostic data, marketing materials and business support to help unlock further revenue streams.<\/p>\n
1TEC Auto Hub member garages are governed by a set of criteria to ensure consistently high standards of service. These include maintaining a professional-looking garage with internet access, a customer-facing reception and waiting area, and having at least two ramps on site with a minimum of two full-time technicians.<\/p>\n
Members can also benefit from access to LKQ\u2019s award-winning LKQ Academy and remote diagnostic service, which provides on-demand access to a range of tooling to help garages complete more complex coding and programming job that would normally have to be outsourced back to the manufacturer.<\/p>\n
The Colchester branch of Shaikly Motor Company \u2013 which was recently crowned as the IAAF\u2019s 2024 Garage of the Year \u2013 became the 300th member to join the network.<\/p>\n
Louise Davies, head of concepts at LKQ Euro Car Parts said: \u201cIt\u2019s no secret that the automotive landscape is constantly changing and evolving \u2013 be it through the transition towards electric vehicles or the need to navigate economic and supply chain pressures.
