<\/p>\nThe second generation of BMW’s X2 Sports Activity Coup\u00e9, which for the first time, is partnered by a fully-electric version, has arrived in Ireland.<\/p>\n
The line-up for the X2 and iX2 range includes one mild-hybrid petrol engine, the M35i high-performance derivative and two versions of the electric iX2 as well. No diesel versions of the X2 will be sold in Ireland.<\/p>\n
The new BMW X2 is priced from \u20ac55,350, with the iX2 xDrive30 starting from \u20ac69,500. The M35i has a price tag of \u20ac79,780. First deliveries are now underway at BMW dealerships.<\/p>\n

With its iX2 xDrive30, BMW says this car offers a range of up to 417 to 449 kms (WLTP), can go from 0-100km\/h in 5.6 seconds, and has a top speed of 180km\/h.<\/p>\n
Its 64.7kWh battery is said to be capable doing up to 449km on a single charge. Using a 130kW DC charger, BMW says the iX2 xDrive30 can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in just shy of half an hour. An 11kW AC charger will take 6.5 hours to recharge the car.<\/p>\n
Both the iX2 and X2 range boast a large spread of driver assistant systems enabling automated driving and parking, and in the innovative digital services delivered by the new BMW iDrive with QuickSelect and BMW Operating System 9.<\/p>\n
With all the seats in use, the new BMW X2 can accommodate 560 litres of cargo, 90 litres more than its predecessor. The load compartment\u2019s capacity can be expanded to 1,470 litres (+ 115 litres). The mild hybrid BMW X2 sDrive20i has a boot capacity of 515 \u2013 1,400 litres, while the fully electric BMW iX2 offers between 525 and 1,400 litres.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
