<\/p>\nEnterprise Holdings, the company behind Enterprise Rent-A-Car, has launched its Enterprise Car Club service in Ireland.<\/p>\n
The company says its new service aims to bring flexible, short-term, and sustainable car rental options to residents, commuters and visitors across the country.<\/p>\n
More than 30 cars and vans have been sited in eight towns and cities. These include 16 on-street sites in Dublin, from Merrion Square north to the Docklands, and Enterprise Rent-A-Car branches in Cork, Galway, Limerick, Waterford, Tralee, Drogheda and Naas.<\/p>\n
The fleet comprises a combination of hybrid and fuel-efficient petrol vehicles including the Ford Puma, Opel Corsa, Renault Clio, Toyota Corolla and Ford Transit models.<\/p>\n
The vehicles are available to rent on an hourly basis.<\/p>\n
Enterprise Holdings expects to increase the number of vehicles and locations in Ireland over the next 12 months, and says fully electric vehicle options will be added to the fleet “in time”.<\/p>\n
It claims Enterprise Car Club can be used as an\u00a0alternative to car ownership, and that businesses can benefit by enabling staff to use a car club vehicle in place of their own car, van or company fleet vehicle.<\/p>\n

“We are delighted to launch Enterprise Car Club in Ireland,” Enterprise Rent-A-Car managing director for Ireland Brendan Grieve said. “This service will enable people across the country to access low emission and value quickly and easily for money vehicles.<\/p>\n
“It will also play an important part in helping reduce congestion and improve air quality by enabling people to make more sustainable travel choices.<\/p>\n
