{"id":58006,"date":"2021-06-10T12:40:29","date_gmt":"2021-06-10T11:40:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.autotrade.ie\/?p=58006"},"modified":"2021-06-10T16:36:18","modified_gmt":"2021-06-10T15:36:18","slug":"unipart-wins-five-year-jaguar-land-rover-contract","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.autotrade.ie\/index.php\/unipart-wins-five-year-jaguar-land-rover-contract\/58006","title":{"rendered":"Unipart secures JLR logistics contract"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Unipart Logistics has secured a five-year contract to run the new, custom-built Jaguar Land Rover Global Parts Logistics Centre in Leicestershire, which will open in 2022.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Jaguar Land Rover has selected Unipart to provide aftermarket parts logistics for both the Jaguar and Land Rover luxury automotive brands.<\/p>\n<p>The operation will be housed at Jaguar Land Rover\u2019s new 2.94m square foot campus, one of the largest UK warehouse developments for a single customer.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.autotrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Appleby-Magna-aerial-600x406-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"406\" class=\"size-full wp-image-58007 aligncenter\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.autotrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Appleby-Magna-aerial-600x406-1.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.autotrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Appleby-Magna-aerial-600x406-1-300x203.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Unipart Logistics will operate a UK and global aftermarket distribution centre, parts packing and branded goods operations, and a customer support function.<\/p>\n<p>The OHM Group are the authorised importer of both Jaguar &#038; Land Rover brands for Ireland. They supply a number of dealerships located throughout Ireland which offer sales and aftersales \/ parts services for Jaguar and Land Rover customers.<\/p>\n<p>John Neill, Unipart group chairman and chief executive, says: \u201cJaguar Land Rover is a global player with world-class products.
