\nJudder can result from over-greasing the splined input shaft. In fact, it only requires a small amount of grease to operate correctly and if too much is applied, then this can splatter onto the plate, contaminating the surface and causing the problem.<\/p>\n
\nSlip can be caused by\u00a0contamination such as\u00a0an engine to gearbox oil leak or if the\u00a0clutch cable is\u00a0adjusted\u00a0too tightly.\u00a0It can also be\u00a0triggered\u00a0if there are seizing components within the\u00a0hydraulic\u00a0system.<\/p>\n
\nDrag can be\u00a0generated\u00a0if the hydraulic system hasn\u2019t been bled properly, which will result in the release mechanism not achieving the right travel to totally disengage the clutch.\u00a0Cable driven vehicles can suffer a similar\u00a0effect\u00a0if the adjustment is incorrect.<\/p>\n
