It has just won the Auto Express \u2018Supermini of the Year\u2019 award, capping off a highly-successful first half of 2018. Across the water, the Fiesta is Britain\u2019s favourite car and is a top 10 seller here in Ireland, battling it out with the Toyota Yaris for the top selling supermini.<\/p>\n<p> This latest win for Fiesta is its eighth this year, having already also been declared Car of the Year and Best Small Car by Carbuyer.co.uk, sister site to Auto Express.<br \/>\n Ford say that buyers love its value, comfort and ride, as well as over a dozen safety and driver assist technologies including automatically halting the car in the event of a pedestrian stepping into its path.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.autotrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/1.-New-Ford-Fiesta-Active-crossover.web-.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-39224\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.autotrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/1.-New-Ford-Fiesta-Active-crossover.web-.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.autotrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/1.-New-Ford-Fiesta-Active-crossover.web--300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.autotrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/1.-New-Ford-Fiesta-Active-crossover.web--768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p> The new Fiesta family continues to grow with the ST just gone on sale. It promises to raise the bar for supermini hot hatches, with 200PS generated by its all-new, three-cylinder, 1.5-litre EcoBoost engine and handling to match thanks to three selectable Drive Modes.<\/p>\n<p> In addition. the Fiesta Active offers a muscular new look, literally raising the Fiesta above the crowd. SUV-inspired styling includes roof rails, wider wheel arches, and distinctive 17\u201d alloy wheels.
