\"\"<\/a>Along with an impressive stand showcasing the broad, diverse product range and new catalogues that FAI offers the aftermarket, WorldSBK legend Chaz Davies will be signing autographs for visitors to the stand on Wednesday, May 24 from 12pm \u2013 2pm.<\/p>\n

FAI haa a rich motorsport heritage and has enjoyed sponsorship of some incredibly talented individuals on the track.<\/p>\n

Somebody that FAI recognised as a strong character and performer years ago was Chaz Davies, a gifted motorcycle racer that has seen fantastic career progression from the start in 1999 when he debuted on a Minimoto. Before reaching the World Superbike Championship, Chaz had already raced for one season in the 125cc World Championship, four in the 250cc and one in MotoGP in addition to competing in the AMA Supersport Championship.<\/p>\n

In this year\u2019s season, Chaz rocketed to a brilliant advantage after achieving podium spots in both races of the first round at Phillip Island, involving a thrilling battle that went down to the wire with Chaz only missing the win in race 2 by 25 thousandths of a second. Round 2 hosted in Thailand then resulted in a 2nd and 6th spot after the Welshman experienced issues with his throttle.<\/p>\n

Despite having an issue in the last round, the spanish leg of the 2017 championship, hosted in Aragon, Spain offered a nail biting face off with the current leader Jonathan Rea which ultimately led to a race win for Chaz leaving in 2nd place overall.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
