With the start of the new year comes some great news that will directly benefit proactive factors who utilise the TecDoc CATALOG system, with the announcement that Autoelectro has joined the growing number of quality aftermarket suppliers that have become its official data suppliers.<\/p>\n

\"Shaun-Greasley-copy\"<\/a>Established in 1986, Autoelectro has grown to become a highly successful and well respected aftermarket supplier, which is now recognised as the largest independent supplier of remanufactured rotating electrics in the country, serving motor factors and their workshop customers across the UK and Ireland with high quality exchange starters and alternators.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe use of TecDoc CATALOG among motor factors, continues to rise year-on-year as they experience the benefits it provides for them when identifying the right part, first time. So we are delighted to welcome Autoelectro into the TecDoc family,\u201d said Shaun Greasley, commercial director of TecAlliance UK and ROI.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith their addition, motor factors and garages with a TecDoc user licence, can now search Europe\u2019s most popular and comprehensive parts data system and find an Autoelectro reference when they need to source a quality replacement starter or alternator.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFor us, the benefits of becoming a data supplier were clear,\u201d added Autoelectro\u2019s Tony Bhogal, \u201cas TecDoc provides us with two distinct opportunities. The first is the fact that as information and cataloguing technology have developed, there has been a shift in the market towards electronic rather than paper catalogues, which means parts data is immediately at the motor factors\u2019 fingertips.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe know that TecDoc provides the aftermarket community with a degree of accuracy that is second to none and so, particularly for those references where there is a potential ambiguity between several possible alternative references, TecDoc cuts through the confusion and gives the correct application reference.<\/p>\n
