The Belfast Telegraph reports that 51-year old father of two young daughters, George Wilson died at the scene,\u00a0after he had been crushed by a runaway car at work.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>His wife was among the first to arrive at the scene and the Telegraph reports that she comforted him in her arms before he\u00a0died, despite the efforts of colleagues who came to his assistance<\/p>\n<p>The PSNI and\u00a0officials from the Health and Safety Executive\u00a0\u00a0are investigating the circumstances of the fatality\u00a0at the long established and popular Ford and Hyundai dealership.<\/p>\n<p>The tragic accident happened after 9am on Saturday in a car park adjoining Monaghan Brothers car dealership on Main Street in Lisnaskea, Fermanagh.\u00a0Mr Wilson had worked for the firm since 2009.\u00a0He was a very respected man who lived in Newtownbutler all his life and was well-liked in the\u00a0town. His wife, Jenny, is originally from Lisnaskea.<\/p>\n<p>Monaghan Brothers is one of Northern Ireland&#8217;s best known and longest running car dealerships with over 50 years of experience in the car industry.\u00a0Founded by the late Mr Jim Monaghan and his brother Joe they continued to develop their business and diversify into many aspects of the motor industry.<\/p>\n<p>It is a family business and currently is being run under the watchful eye of Mr Jim Armitage who\u00a0has\u00a0been involved in the company for over 45 years.<\/p>\n<p>We express our sincere condolences and sympathy to George Wilson&#8217;s wife Jenny and their two young daughters, as well as their extended family and friends. Our sympathy also to Jim Armitage and all the work colleagues of George Wilson at Monaghan Brothers at this very difficult time for everyone who worked with him.
