Volkswagen Group Ireland welcomes new chief executive

Pierre Boutin, the new president and chief executive of Volkswagen Group Ireland, was today present at the group’s aftersales management team strategy meeting for 2024.

Robert Guy, director of group aftersales at Volkswagen Group Ireland, informed AutoTrade.ie that the team had “great exchanges” with Mr Boutin, and learned from his global experiences in the automotive sector regarding mobility, battery-electric vehicles, connectivity and “putting the customer first”.

Pierre Boutin (pictured below in black suit jacket) assumed his new role here in Ireland at the start January, following a four-year tenure as president and chief executive of Volkswagen Group Canada.

Also present at the group’s strategy meeting was Vicky Halton, John Cunningham, Karen Pringle, Barry Aird, Matt Hoban, Chris Lowry, Philip McGowan, Ger Boyle, Ciara Sheehan, and Olivia Garcia (all pictured below).
