Volkswagen exclusive commercial vehicle partner for Kaleidoscope
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Ireland has been confirmed as the exclusive commercial vehicle partner for ‘Kaleidoscope presented by Glenveagh’.
Now in its sixth year, the festival, which takes place from 3rd to 5th July at Russborough House in Co Wicklow, has established itself as one of
Ireland’s largest summer events, combining live music, arts, theatre, and activities designed for all ages.
At the show, Volkswagen will introduce a dedicated on-site experience called “Camp California”, centreed around its California camper van. The space is designed as an open, communal area where festival goers can explore the vehicle and take part in a series of interactive activities.

The activation will include creative and educational elements aimed primarily at young attendees and their families. Children will be able to take part in a hands-on design workshop, creating personalised bucket hats to wear for the duration of the festival.
Meanwhile, a separate camper-based experience will guide participants through basic tasks and features associated with camper van travel. Those who complete the activity will receive a “Kids Camping Licence”.
Festival goers can also enter a competition to win the use of a Volkswagen California camper van for a week.
The partnership is intended to showcase the practical and lifestyle aspects of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, while aligning with the festival’s emphasis on shared experiences and outdoor living.
Paul Hunt, brand director for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Ireland said the company is delighted to partner with the festival organisers.
He said: “Kaleidoscope is all about shared moments, creativity, and the freedom to explore – values that align perfectly with everything we stand for as a brand. We wanted to create a space where families can come together and experience the possibilities of camper van travel in a relaxed and engaging way.”
