Toyota’s new Land Cruiser Commercial off to a flyer
The all-new Toyota Land Cruiser, which only arrived on Irish roads in June of this year, has seen unprecedented demand with over 850 sold so far.
With an increased towing capacity up to 3.5 tonnes, a redesigned turbocharger, and an advanced eight-speed automatic transmission, the Land Cruiser has proved popular once again for those who tackle challenging terrains every day.
Available from Toyota dealerships nationwide, the commercial version is priced in Ireland from €57,192 ex VAT.

The first Land Cruiser model in 15 years, the new Toyota Land Cruiser is fitted with a 2.8-litre diesel engine, a redesigned turbocharger, and an advanced eight-speed automatic transmission. Together this returns 204hp, 500Nm of torque and a quoted fuel consumption of 10.6 L/100km.
It can now tow up to 3.5-tonnes (matching the towing capacity of the Toyota Hilux), making it the ideal choice for drivers moving heavy loads, managing a farm, or working in rugged terrain.
Toyota says the introduction of electric power steering replaces the former hydraulic system, improving off-road handling while enabling lane assist.
The new Land Cruiser is backed by a three-year/100,000km manufacturer’s warranty, a three-year/unlimited mileage surface rust/paintwork warranty, and a 12-year/unlimited mileage corrosion perforation warranty.
Engineered for both rugged landscapes and refined on-road experiences, Toyota says the latest model features a spacious, high-tech cabin with significant upgrades designed for driver and passenger convenience.
The intelligent cockpit ensures connectivity between the car and a smartphone via the MyToyota App, allowing drivers to check trip data and even control remote air conditioning. Additionally, the Land Cruiser comes with Wireless Smartphone Integration (Apple CarPlay & Android Auto), a rear-view camera with washer, and front and rear parking sensors for enhanced safety.
