Textar expanded portfolio by 153 products in 2025


Textar reports that it achieved 43 first-to-markets in 2025, claiming to be the only premium braking brand at that time to offer premium brake pads and discs for a specific automotive application.

This included products for vehicle models by Porsche, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and more.

Overall, the aftermarket braking brand of TMD Friction introduced 153 new products into its portfolio in 2025. Today, the Textar portfolio boasts more than 8,318 products for both passenger cars and commercial vehicles.

The new products Textar introduced in 2025 included 49 passenger car brake pads, five commercial vehicle brake pads, 28 brake discs, 35 ABS sensors, two brake drums, one drum brake lining, four brake shoes, five wear indicators, and 24 other products such as brake fluid, lubricants, accessories, and tools.
