Bahco’s upgraded heavy duty battery boosters provide a dependable solution when large diesel engines fail to start in cold or sub-zero temperatures.
Its series1200 booster is ideal for starting diesel engines up to 350HP, using start assistance, or up to 175HP without a battery.
For tougher tasks, Bahco’s series1700 booster will start a 480HP diesel engine without a battery at 12V or a diesel engine up to 1,500HP without a battery at 24V. Immediate power, supplied through 50mm copper cables, provides 1700CA at 12V and 900CA at 24V.
Both boosters are fitted with a 500A fuse for protection. A 1.85m long cable is fitted to each model, making them suitable for workshop use or at the roadside. Connection to a lighter socket is another option.
The booster’s robust, one piece moulded case is virtually unbreakable. It resists damage from all workshop materials, including brake fluid, making it ideal for use in tough workplaces, whatever the weather and conditions. Wide opening, fully insulated heavy duty clamps are fitted with a copper bridge to ensure diffusion of the current through both bronze jaws.
Bahco says its heavy duty series 3200 battery booster delivers the high cranking amperage needed to start vehicles of all sizes almost instantly.
