Schaeffler highlights the BMW 225xe plug-in-hybrid

Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket’s latest ‘In Focus’ is highlighting the BMW 225xe plug-in-hybrid model from 2014 to 2021.

The BMW 225xe is a plug-in hybrid vehicle that combines an electric motor with a 1.5-litre three-cylinder BMW TwinPower Turbo engine. This setup allows for both electric driving and traditional petrol-driven mobility.

One of the noteworthy features of the BMW 225xe is its “electrified xDrive” system, where the rear axle electric drive system works in conjunction with the regular front-wheel-drive configuration of the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer.
