Ring to take on Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge for charity
A number of employees at Ring Automotive are set to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge next month in order to raise money for Cancer Research UK’s Business Beats Cancer initiative.
On 14th September, more than 15 Ring employees will climb the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres), all of which need to be completed within 12 hours.

Overall, the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge will see the team take on 40 kilometres of walking and 5,200 feet of ascent.
Ring Automotive hopes to raise at least £5,200 for the initiative, and has set up a dedicated fundraising page on the Cancer Research UK website under the name ‘Team Ring Automotive’.
Marketing director for Ring, Henry Bisson, said: “I’ve decided to join in on this Three Peaks challenge because it’s raising money for a fantastic cause and it’s also a great opportunity to challenge myself and the team as a whole.
“The Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge is just that – a challenge, and the staff at Ring were eager to take it on. It’s going to be a long and difficult day, but we’ll definitely be encouraging each other to get through it.”
He added: “The Business Beats Cancer is a brilliant initiative that we as a company are happy to support, so we’re trying to raise as much money as we can, so any amount donated will be incredible.”
