Nissan drops entry price of electric Ariya
Nissan Ireland has announced new pricing across its all-electric Ariya crossover range, which now has a starting price of €39,995.
The competitive lead-in price of €39,995 (inclusive of €3,500 SEAI grant) is available on the new 63 kWh Nissan Ariya ‘Engage’. It delivers a claimed range of 404 kilometres and is packed full of safety features and connected technologies that are usually only reserved for higher grade options.
Customers looking for an even more luxurious drive can opt for the ‘Advance’ or ‘Evolve’ grades where they can choose between the 63 kWh battery or the bigger 87 kWh battery which offers a quoted range of up to 532 kilometres.
The 63 kWh Advance grade starts at €42,995, while the higher spec Evolve grade with the same battery starts at €45,495. Pricing for the larger 87 kWh battery in the Advance grade starts at €51,995 and at €54,495 for the Evolve grade. All prices are inclusive of the Government grants.

“Our new pricing is extremely competitive for a family car of this quality. The first thing you notice when you sit into the Nissan Ariya is its premium feel and spacious interior and customers can now have it all for less,’ said Seamus Morgan, managing director of Nissan Ireland.
“The entry grade price of €39,995 is on a par, or less than the cost of buying the same sized petrol or diesel car. Nissan is making EV driving more affordable than ever and the Nissan Ariya makes it possible to switch to zero emissions driving without having to compromise on price, range, luxury or space.
“There is incredible value to be had on the Nissan Ariya right now. Customers can get €2,000 more than their current car is worth with Nissan’s summer Trade-In-Booster offer on any Nissan Ariya, if they buy before the end of July.
Alternatively, they can choose the limited time 3.99 per cent finance offer, which is available across the Nissan range, to drive a new Nissan Ariya 63kWh Engage for the incredible price of €358 per month,” he added.
According to Nissan, the Ariya is its most technically advanced car to date. Wireless Apple Carplay, cabled Android and Intelligent Personal Assistant technology all come as standard. The interior is devoid of the usual buttons. Primary control functions vibrate when touched and only appear when the car is switched on.
Standard safety features include Intelligent Forward Collison Warning, Intelligent Driver Alertness, Intelligent Cruise Control, Intelligent Lane Intervention, Blind Spot Warning and Blindspot Intervention, and Rear Emergency Braking and Cross Traffic Alert technology. Nissan’s e-Pedal technology allows drivers to launch, accelerate and decelerate using only the accelerator.
The top of the range 87 kWh Ariya Evolve comes with a wireless phone charger, part PVC/Synthetic suede seats, intelligent rear view mirror, a HeadsUp Display (HUD), ProPILOT PARK, ventilated (heated and cooled) front seats, heated rear seats, a Bose 10-speaker sound system and an openable panoramic sunroof.
