NGK appoints new General Manager – Aftermarket

NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd has appointed Marko Wowczyna as General Manager – Aftermarket.

The 48-year-old has spent the past 15 years working in the automotive industry and moves to the leading supplier of original equipment spark plugs, glow plugs and NTK Lambda sensors from Sogefi where he was UK Sales & Marketing Director.

He said: “I am looking forward to the challenge of joining NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd. NGK is renowned for its strong OE heritage and its exceptional performance in the aftermarket.
“The company’s success is based on the high technical quality and availability of its products, the dedication and professionalism of its staff and its industry-leading customer support. However, we cannot afford to rest on our laurels and I will be working hard with the team to make sure that we continue to grow the business in the future.”

Marko, who hails from Bradford, is married to Sarah and has two sons, Luca (11) and Matteo (9). Outside of work his hobbies include motorcycling and football.
