Opel is the first German manufacturer to enter the rapidly growing segment of sub-compact sports utility vehicles (SUV-B segment). Available this December from just €19,995, Opel Ireland says that their all-new Opel Mokka represents another impressive value offering from the award-winning German manufacturer.
Marking not just a brand new era in Opel’s product portfolio, the all-new Opel Mokka is bringing its wealth of German-engineered driving technologies to the sub-compact SUV segment for the first time. With its bold dynamic design and muscular stance, but measuring just 4.28 metres in length, the Opel Mokka has delivered on its promise to combine stunning design with innovative technologies and functionalities.
“The new Opel Mokka represents a brand new chapter in our product offensive. This vehicle offers the perfect balance of German engineering and striking design with incredible value in its class. Some of the technologies featured on the Mokka are making their appearance for the first time in this segment, thus setting a new standard”, said Dave Sheeran, managing Director, Opel Ireland.
Some of Opel’s award winning technologies included in this segment for the first time include; ergonomic seating, adaptive forward lighting (AFL+) and the in-built FlexFix bike carrier system.
Drive and comfort enhancing features include the Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control (TC) as well as the Hill Start Assist (HSA) and Hill Descent Control (HDC) systems.
An intelligent all-wheel drive (AWD) system is also available on the Opel Mokka as an option. The AWD system automatically recognises when traction is needed on all four wheels and ensures that it is provided at a maximum level when necessary.
