New Laser Tools pen light features two light sources

Laser Tools has added a new aluminium pen light (part number 8597) which it says integrates a 2W COB lamp with a 2W LED torch, and is powered by a rechargeable 750mAh lithium-ion battery.

Encased in a tough silver-anodised body, this pen light features a magnetic base and a pocket clip for convenient placement and easy portability. The COB lamp gives a good spread of light while the LED offers a more direct torch beam.

This pen light has dimensions of 17mm x 156mm x 13mm, and is easily rechargeable via the supplied USB cable. It charges in 2.5 to three hours and this gives a working time of two-four hours. Three switch positions: 50 per cent COB on, 100 per cent COB on, then off. A long press activates the LED. Both light sources are bright: COB 80 – 170 lumens, LED 150 lumens.
