New flat-cut star sockets from Laser Tools

New from Laser Tools is this set of 3/8″ and 1/2″ drive flat-cut star sockets (part number 8797), ranging from E5 to E20.

These sockets are designed to accommodate low-profile TORX-head bolts, ensuring full contact with the fixing where normal socket profiles might fall short.

This sort of fixing is used in various modern vehicles, including BMW 5 and 7 Series (window regulators), Nissan (QR25 drive plate/flywheel bolt), and various Toyota and JLR models. Also frequently employed for tasks such as body panel fixing.

Sockets included: 3/8″ drive E5, E6, E7, E8, E10, E11, E12, E14, E16, E18 and E20. 1/2″ drive: E22 and E24.
