New FAG Repair Insert Unit – Less is more


Schaeffler’s new Repair Insert Unit comes with an innova­tive patented sealing cap. It is made of polyamide plastic and mounted contactless on the outboard bearing. This means less friction between the outboard bearing and the sealing lip. For you, that means more CO2 reduction, more cost savings and more effortless maintenance on trucks and buses.

Up to 38-watt reduction
With Schaeffler’s new seal cap your vehicle will be up to 38 watts per hub more efficient compared to previous sealing technologies. What does that mean? Less CO2 and more sustainability on our roads. Please note that the above calculation is based on the determination of the sealing friction and is done according to Schaeffler standards
