NAPA Racing endorses Osram
Lighting specialist, Osram has been endorsed by NAPA Racing for its bulb and blade ranges. In a recent video, NAPA Racing drivers, Dan Rowbottom and Dan Cammish, discussed Osram’s bulbs and blades, citing them as important safety components with regards to the vision of the track ahead.
The racing drivers took to the track to test the Osram LEDriving HL Easy bulbs and Wiperblade Better Sight on a particularly rainy day.

Osram’s LEDriving HL Easy is a standard socket based solution, meaning it doesn’t need additional adapters. Drivers can simply take their old halogen bulbs out, and replace it with these LED versions.
With its simple fitting arrangement, the Osram LEDriving HL Easy retrofits provide an ultra-compact LED replacement for conventional high and low beam bulbs with cool white LED light – providing a stylish look, as well as superior brightness, with an optimised high-speed fan that ensures active cooling and maximised heat dissipation.
OSRAM’s newly launched wiper blade range, Wiperblade Better Sight, provides premium windscreen wiping performance that ensures maximum coverage with minimal effort, as the range contains 29 SKUs, which will cover the majority of the UK car parc and come as single packs. Split into two ranges, multi-fit beam blades and conventional blades, both have third generation nano technology coating, which makes the blade robust, silent and streak free.

Lighting marketing manager at Osram, Terri Clark, commented: “While Osram LEDriving HL Easy retrofit bulbs are for off road use only, which can include race tracks, the legislation has not caught up with the LED technology allowing these to be used on public roads just yet. However, we are in regular discussions with the Government to discuss this issue. Yet, as you can see from the video and the commentary by Dan and Dan, the brightness it provides is fantastic and enables the driver to see clearly in darker conditions.
“We’re ecstatic to have partnered up with NAPA Racing in 2025 and we’re enthusiastic about their feedback on our products. The wiper blade range for instance, was only launched a few months ago, so to be used on a racing car so soon into its introduction into the UK market is a thrill. If the blades can clear the windscreen effectively in those conditions at the speeds those race cars are doing, we have no doubt how well they’ll do on UK roads.”
