MUTEC Mercedes-Benz opens new double lane CVRT centre

MUTEC Mercedes-Benz has opened a new CVRT centre at its Long Mile Road premises in Dublin 12, featuring two fully-equipped testing lanes fitted with the latest technology fully certified by the Road Safety Authority (RSA).

“I am delighted to share that our new CVRT centre is now open for business. Our new lanes have increased our CVRT capacity, including reserved scope for last minute and next day bookings,” said Gary Green, general manager at MUTEC.

By investing in “the most advanced testing equipment available”, MUTEC said it has “significantly improved testing efficiency, reduced vehicle downtime, and increased its overall testing capacity”.

Construction of the new CVRT centre commenced back in February, a highlight of which included the installation of a 24-metre prefabricated inspection pit.

“A massive thank you to all involved in our new test centre project, it was a huge team effort to get the project completed on time,” Green added. “We look forward to helping commercial vehicles stay roadworthy.”
