Motul partners new classic car restoration show

Motul has become the lubricant partner of Paddock Speedshop – a new TV programme aimed at next generation vehicle restoration.

Motul is supplying lubricants, coolants, greases and associated products for the show, together with technical support and assistance to ensure the optimum results for all of the restored vehicles as they make their way back onto the UK’s roads and race tracks.

It is also providing one of its new, BioClean sustainable, solvent-free workshop cleaning systems to the Paddock Speedshop workshop.

Paddock Speedshop centres around a small group of twenty somethings, who bring a number of different vehicles back to full working order over the course of each series.

The show’s leading restorers are two 23-year-olds: Lucy Busby and Ethan Blake-Jones, who will be maintaining and restoring a varied selection of Classics and Youngtimers – both for everyday road use and also for competition.

Andy Wait, head of UK Motul PCMO sales said: “This is a truly exciting new development for Motul. Paddock Speedshop is fresh – and hugely relevant for our growth in the classic vehicle market. As people will have seen over the last few years, the classic sector is really important to us.

“Our range of products targeted at older vehicles has greatly expanded and our partnership with the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs – together with its associated partnerships – as well as the launch and development of our Club Motul concept, emphasise our commitment to this sector. Now, our close involvement with Paddock Speedshop adds another key string to the Motul bow.”

The full range of Motul’s car, commercial heavy duty, agri and motorcycle products are available in Ireland through Alpha Lubricants – 021 488 9814 – www.alphalubricants.ie.
