In his new role, Meyle said he will work closely with the company’s European sales leadership, marketing, and technical teams to support long-term market development.

Kirsten Rothe, vice president sales Europe at Meyle, said: “Karl is a key asset to the team and a natural choice for this position. He brings a strong combination of technical understanding, commercial experience and deep knowledge of the market.

“Having already been instrumental in developing customer relationships and driving growth at Meyle, Karl is ideally positioned to lead the UK and Ireland sales team and continue building our presence in the region.”

“Meyle has built strong momentum in recent years and my focus now is on building on that success,” commented Varley. “I’m looking forward to working with our customers and internal teams to strengthen partnerships, drive sustainable growth and continue positioning Meyle as the go-to brand in the aftermarket.”

“What really sets Meyle apart is its passion for improving products beyond OE standards. The depth of manufacturing expertise and engineering knowledge across the business allows us to deliver real added value for our customers and that’s something I’m excited to build on in this role.”

Meyle will be exhibiting at the 2026 Auto Trade EXPO, which takes place alongside the CV Workshop EXPO from 10th -11th October at the RDS Simmonscourt in Dublin.
