MAM Software, represented RNH Solutions has launched its new MCDS programme, which is designed to benefit suppliers, factors and garages by encouraging the production of accurate electronic catalogue data.
The accreditation scheme will provide national recognition for suppliers that reference their product data against MAM’s UK and Ireland specific Make Model Index (MMI). It offers factors and workshops the reassurance that product data featured in MAM’s Autocat+ parts catalogue is accurate and up-to-date.
By achieving MCDS status, parts manufacturers and suppliers will receive highlighted product listings in MAM’s Autocat+ parts catalogue, which is trusted by over 11,500 users in factors and garages across the country. They will also receive a resource pack that includes a certificate, logo and approved literature to advertise their MCDS status.
“We are introducing the MMI Certified Data Supplier programme as part of our continued efforts to help garages achieve first-time-fit and reduce factors’ returns” said MAM Software’s Ian Penny. “By achieving MCDS status, suppliers will have demonstrated their commitment to providing accurate, up-to-date catalogue data that is matched to UK-specific vehicles. As a result, factors and garages will have increased confidence that the products that they are ordering or supplying will be right first time.”
The MMI Certified Data Supplier programme is open to any manufacturer or supplier providing components or accessories into the UK automotive aftermarket.
