LKQ strengthens collision offering with 700 new parts

LKQ’s latest arrivals have expanded its product offering with almost 700 new-to-range collision parts so far in 2025, including body panels, cooling components, lamps and mirrors.

These addition strengthen the company’s position as the industry’s only complete solution provider for end-to-end repair.

The latest arrivals are made up of 554 body panels including bonnets, wings, mouldings, bumpers and grilles; 67 new cooling components including radiators, coolers and condensers; 60 lighting components including head, rear and fog lamps; and 13 other parts including mirrors.

A total of 605 are part of LKQ’s Platinum Approved Parts Programme, which is backed up by a leading lifetime warranty – with BS10125 compliance and the strictest quality control criteria.

LKQ processes around 800,000 crash repair assessments every year and this data allows the business to identify the parts customers need that aren’t in range. This is used to build its Platinum Approved Parts range, identifying gaps and working with the global supply chain to bring new products to market.

The business’ vast collision portfolio also covers vehicle manufacturer branded parts, original equipment (OE) and Aftermarket quality parts.

By continually strengthening its range, LKQ says it ensures repairers can rely on a single partner with the scale, expertise and flexibility to meet their specific needs, supporting profitability and helping them to operate efficiently rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

Ian Beasley, collision strategy lead, LKQ Bodyshop Division, said: “By continually assessing and expanding our range, we’re making sure all bodyshops of all sizes have access to the right parts to keep repairs efficient, safe and cost-effective – with LKQ’s fast, reliable delivery and aftersales support ensuring parts are ready to fit the moment they arrive.

“Our Platinum Approved Parts are also selected specifically for the professional bodyshop customer, ensuring accurate fit, form, function and material composition when compared with the OE equivalent, and the use of Platinum Parts has been approved by all of the UK’s major motor insurers as a key benefit for their repairer networks.

“Our nationwide team is on hand with the technical know-how to keep repairs running smoothly, so customers can rely on LKQ as a single partner that combines scale, expertise and flexibility. From independent workshops to the largest groups, we’re committed to being the partner that helps bodyshops overcome today’s challenges and unlock sustainable, profitable growth.”
