Brookfield brings almost two decades of experience in the automotive aftermarket to the role. He joined LKQ 16 years ago and was previously on the UK and Ireland leadership team, working closely on the operational development of the business before moving to his current position at LKQ Europe.
Andy Hamilton, president and executive managing director of LKQ Europe, said: “David was integral to the growth of our UK & Ireland business during my tenure as CEO. He understands its customers and the local market dynamics.
“Coupled with his intimate knowledge of our people, culture and operations, it makes him exactly the right person to lead the business through this transition.”
Kevan Wooden joined LKQ UK & Ireland as chief commercial officer in 2019 before becoming CEO in 2023.
