Joe Gantly, formerly of Fiat Ireland

Joe was certainly was one of the good guys. A nice man, a real gentleman. He was universally liked by my colleagues and anyone that he came into contact with. He did his work in a very professional way, but it was his talent as a people’s person that opened doors for his employers to Irish dealers, the motoring press of his time and many others.

Joe is reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, this evening (Friday) from 5 to 7 o’clock.

Requiem Mass is tomorrow (Saturday) morning at 11 o’clock in the Church of the Resurrection, Bayside.

The funeral thereafter is to Glasnevin Crematorium.

Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.

Arrivederci Joe – May you Rest in Peace.
