Information evenings on CV Roadworthiness


The Road Safety Authority (RSA) is set to introduce a series of reforms focused at improving the safety of all commercial vehicles operating on Ireland’s roads.

The RSA is hosting a number of information evenings and is inviting interested parties including licensed and non licensed operators of commercial vehicles, registered owners, and commercial vehicle drivers to a series of information evenings, the purpose of which is to give an update on the CVR (Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness) Programme, including information on;

1. The New Compliance measures.

2. The New Enforcement measures.

Dates and locations of these information briefings are listed below;

25th February, 2013(Monday) Springfort Hall Hotel, Mallow, Co. Cork 6pm to 8pm
26th February, 2013(Tuesday) Clarion Hotel  Liffey Valley, Liffey Valley, Dublin 22 6pm to 8pm
27th February, 2013    (Wednesday) Clarion Hotel, Clarion Road, Sligo 6pm to 8pm

The RSA says it is committed to working closely with Operators to ensure that they are fully aware of the implications and requirements of the Reform Programme and says it hopes that Trade Bodies will continue to play a vital role in communicating the key messages of the CVR programme to its members.
