Welcoming him to the IAAF, its chief executive Mark Field said Dillon will “play an instrumental role in supporting members and championing the industry to legislators as part of our continued campaign to highlight the contribution of the independent automotive aftermarket”.
Commenting on his new role, Dillon said: “I’m delighted to be joining the IAAF at such an important time for the industry.
“The independent aftermarket plays a vital role in keeping the nation’s vehicles on the road, and it’s essential that the sector continues to be represented effectively as vehicle technology, regulation and mobility continue to evolve.
“I look forward to supporting members and building on the strong work already done by the federation.”
