Hella opens new hotel


Hella has opened an international hotel with conference facilities and sports centre at the company’s headquarters in Lippstadt, Germany
The international automotive parts supplier has opened the Hella Globe Hotel in Lippstadt. The new building, literally on the doorstep of the company headquarters, will be used as a guest, conference and sports centre for Hella employees from Germany and abroad. Dr. Jürgen Behrend, General Managing Partner, and Lippstadt’s mayor Christof Sommer, in the presence of representatives from the world of politics, business, media and also the team of builders and architects, ceremoniously inaugurated Hella Globe on Thursday, April 10.

“The Globe is intended to act as a home away from home for Hella personnel from all over the world when they stay here at our headquarters in Lippstadt,” explained Dr. Behrend during the event. “It is a veritable symbol of our international network, which now comprises people living and working in Germany, Europe, America and in the Asia-Pacific region.” Thus today the company boasts more than 30,000 members of staff at more than 100 locations in more than 35 countries right across the globe. The number of employees who arrive in Lippstadt from all four corners of the earth for meetings, coordination talks and training courses has been rising steadily for years. With the advent of Hella Globe, the visitors will now be able to enjoy their very own guest house located in close proximity to company headquarters, a guest house providing 39 rooms with ultra modern furnishings, a spacious lounge area.
