GYS Evolution PTI S7 Spot Welder approved by BYD

Collision repair equipment manufacturer GYS, has received homologation from Chinese auto giant BYD, for its GYSPOT Evolution PTI S7 Spot Welder.

Available in Ireland through Shop Bodyshop Direct, the GYSPOT Evolution PTI S7 Spot Welder meets the requirements of welding high-strength steels (UHLE/boron steels), with a clamping force of 550 daN with 8bars air pressure, and a maximum welding current of 14,500A.

Its C-shaped clamp incorporates a high-tech transformer, providing a solution to power supply problems by enabling operation on a 230V, 40A power supply.

Finally, it is extremely easy to use, thanks to the automatic setting of welding parameters in EASY mode.
