CAB seizes 80 cars worth €2m in Tipperary
The Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) has seized 80 cars worth around €2 million from a used car dealer in Co. Tipperary, as part of an investigation into a UK-based organised crime group.

Gardaí and UK Police carried out an operation today in counties Clare and Tipperary as part of a cyber-fraud and money laundering investigation in the United Kingdom.
CAB says the crime group is suspected of laundering proceeds of mandate fraud committed in the UK via the used car outlet in Tipperary. The €2m worth of seized cars include models from BMW, Audi, Land Rover, Lexus, Volvo, Hyundai and Ford. The search of the car dealer remains ongoing.
Two flatbed trucks and one car transporter have also been seized.
In total, six searches were conducted in Clare and Tipperary, with €21k in cash being seized. Over €200k was also frozen in bank accounts here in Ireland.
