Bosch launches new DOT 4 E Brake Fluid

Bosch has introduced its new Brake Fluid DOT 4 E, aimed at simplifying workshop handling and exceeding international DOT 4 standards.

The bottle is made from 100 per cent recycled plastic and is free of borates, which makes handling and disposal in the workshop easier.

The Bosch brake fluid DOT 4 E is classified as a non-hazardous version of DOT 4 brake fluid. It features a higher dry and wet boiling point and a lower viscosity, making it suitable for electric vehicles.

DOT 4 E is designed for ABS and ESP systems. The brake fluid operates more reliably at low temperatures due to its low viscosity. Special additives protect it against corrosion in the ABS and ESP system.
