Sealey introduces new coil spring compressor sets

Sealey has introduced new coil spring compressor sets which have been specifically designed for left winding coil springs found on some modern vehicles.

Sealey’s innovative new yoke design allows left winding springs to seat safely and securely to the curvature of the yoke. All three sets RE239, RE249 and RE259 are suitable for MacPherson strut coil springs.

RE239 is supplied with two pairs of different sized interchangeable yokes (for left-handed coil springs) and the RE249 is supplied with five pairs of different sized interchangeable yokes, (for right/left-handed coil springs).

Both sets are rendered with plastic yoke protectors that will protect the spring coating from damage, which can invalidate the vehicle manufacturer’s guarantee and the safety yokes are carefully shaped to stop the spring bowing while under compression.
