INA adds to OAP range
Major new additions have been made to the INA Over Running Alternator Pulleys (OAPs) range by Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket (UK) Ltd.
OAPs are an integral part of the Front End Auxiliary Drive system (FEAD) and are designed to absorb vibrations and fluctuations in the FEAD.
More than 150 million units have been produced since being launched in 1995 with every fifth car driving on the world’s roads being fitted with one.
Three new OAPs have been introduced as part of a raft of new INA parts for nearly 580,000 vehicles.
The OAPs fit vehicles that include Ford’s Focus II 1.6 TDCi 11/2004-2011, Fiesta VI 1.6 TDCi 10/2008-, and Focus III/C-Max/Galaxy 1.6 EcoBoost 04/2011-.
Two million of the fuel-saving EcoBoost engines have now been produced globally since their 2009 launch with output now averaging more than 100,000 engines per month.
There are also new parts for many Far Eastern vehicles including a timing belt kit for the Hyundai Coupe, Elantra, i30, Matrix, Trajet and Tucson 1.8 2.0 2001-, and Kia Carens, Cee’d, Pro Cee’d , Cerato, Sportage 1.8 and 2.0 2004-.
Plus there are v belt deflection pulleys for the Hyundai/Kia H1, H100, iLoad/Sorento 2.5 CRDi 2002-, and for the Honda Accord IX, Civic VII, VIII, CR-V, FR-V, Stream 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 2001-.
