WIX Racing unveils new livery ahead of the 2016 BTCC season
As it enters its third season as title sponsors, WIX Filters, represented in Ireland by J&S Automotive, is looking forward to a new campaign in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) with a fresh new look.
The WIX Racing Mercedes A-Class takes inspiration from the WIX Filters Global Rallycross car, driven by Nelson Piquet Jr, which with its bold and predominant design will make the WIX Racing Mercedes A-Class, driven by Adam Morgan stand out amongst the rest of the field.

Since 1939, WIX has been an innovator in filtration products. WIX designs, manufactures and distributes products for the automotive market. Its product line includes oil, air, cabin and fuel. WIX uses motorsports as a gruelling testing ground for scenarios involving high temperatures, fluctuations in pressure and rapid breakdown of engine oil.
As well as on track, the new livery will be replicated on the WIX Filters replica show car which is used within the business for garage visits and trade shows 5 days a week. If you see the BTCC replica show car in your area, share a picture through one of WIX’s social media channels below.
The high level motorsport branding fits in well with the WIX brand having had such a rich motorsport heritage throughout its 76 year history Including NASCAR in America and of course, Global Rallycross.
“We had fantastic results in 2015 with 7 podiums including the 1 win at Thruxton and now the whole team look to build on that by going for the Independents trophy” Anton Spires – Marketing Coordinator.
