The first new Volvo V60 five-door, mid-size premium estate has arrived in Ireland. The hand-built demonstration model can be seen for a limited time in Volvo’s Scandinavian inspired pop up shop on Dublin’s Merrion Row.
From the 11th of May to the 8th of June, visitors will get a chance to see Volvo’s long-awaited new dynamic estate. Customers are invited to experience first-hand the look and feel of Volvo’s latest premium offering in the comfort of a relaxed, Scandinavian environment while enjoying traditional Swedish Fika*.
Emma O’Carroll, Brand and PR specialist at Volvo Car Ireland, said: “We are delighted to open our third pop up shop on Dublin’s Merrion Row to give customer a preview of the new V60 before it arrives in dealerships later this summer. The new V60 is the latest product in Volvo’s transformation, and introduces to our mid-sized estate the premium design, advanced connectivity and pioneering safety technology already seen on the successful 90 series and XC60.
“The pop up shop allows us to give shoppers a first look at the new V60 in a unique environment. Customers can take a tour of the car, build their own model, take a trip in our Volvo virtual reality experience or book a test drive and be in with a chance to win a 5 Star trip to Stockholm!”
Revealed in Stockholm in March of this year, the new car replaces Volvo’s highly successful original V60. The new V60 reinforces Volvo Cars’ standing as the industry leader in safety, with a comprehensive list of safety features that come as standard, including advanced driver support systems known from the 90 Series and XC60, making the new V60 one of the safest cars on the road.
The Volvo pop-up shop can be found at 13 Merrion Row and is open 7 days a week until the 8th of June.
