Tyre expo giant Reifen joins forces with Automechanika Birmingham

The close working relationship between Messe Frankfurt, organisers of the hugely successful Automechanika automotive trade exhibitions, and Messe Essen, with their equally successful Reifen tyre industry event, has been further consolidated. The two organisations are enhancing their working relationship through a global partnership across all Automechanika events from 2017 onwards, adding value and major benefits to the events and their visitors from the automotive aftermarket, supply chain and tyre industry sectors.

The combined organisational forces are bringing together an automotive exhibition that will provide unrivalled business opportunities. They will showcase the very best products and services from the combined global automotive industries under one roof. The two major exhibitions will come together for the first time at Automechanika Birmingham in June 2017 and subsequently at Frankfurt in September 2018.

Commenting on this important new partnership, Oliver P. Kuhrt, CEO of Messe Essen said, “Together with Messe Frankfurt, we are bringing the tyre industry together with the automotive aftermarket and presenting the complete process chain. The exhibitors at Reifen will reach even more visitors at the new location in Frankfurt, parallel to Automechanika.”

Simon Albert, Event Director at Automechanika Birmingham said. “Automechanika Birmingham 2016 already has a strong exhibitor offering for visitors from the tyre industry. We will see a number of traditional tyre industry exhibitors, as well as most major manufacturers within parts and components and garage equipment at the exhibition on June 7-9. The agreement with Reifen is a significant step in strengthening the offering for the 2017 event”.
